The Process
You’ve learned what link bait is, what link bait can do for you, and you’ve decided that a link bait campaign is right for you. Furthermore, you’ve also decided to become a Link-Bait.com client … now what?
As you can imagine every campaign is unique and different. For your convenience however, we’ve provided a quick and general overview of the different steps involved in the link bait process.
Interview
After a brief interview focused on understanding your business and your goals, we brainstorm and outline several different options for your campaign. We will present the strengths and weaknesses of each option and provide our recommendation. You will then select an option that you feel best fits your site’s needs. If you are for any reason unsatisfied with the options we’ve presented, we’ll head back to the drawing board until you’re completely comfortable moving forward.
Creation
After your selection is made, we create the link bait content and send it to you for review, any possible editing, and approval. The creation process may include writing, designing, or even programming depending on your specific campaign. You will be given regular updates throughout the creation process to ensure that your project is running smoothly and on time.
Publishing
Once we receive final approval of the link bait content, it is published in close coordination with our promotional efforts to ensure the best possible results.
Promotion
The promotion of your content is critical to the success of your campaign and our efforts on that front are two-fold. We arrange to have your content tagged or submitted to several different social bookmarking/networking sites, once again, in a manner to ensure optimal results.
We also personally contact prominent bloggers and other influencers in your niche, alerting them of your content and describing why it would be of interest to their readers. This personal touch can often push link bait campaigns to an even higher level of success garnering even more high quality relevant links.
Debriefing
Finally, two weeks after the link bait content has been launched, we will compile a debriefing report, detailing the links your campaign has attracted. While many campaigns will continue to gain fresh new links after this time period, the bulk of the linking activity will be captured within this two-week time frame.
